The best dining experience on Crete by far (been here 8 times)! We were drawn in by the beautiful art in and around the beautiful restaurant. The food was incredible, we had the meat balls and the moussaka. Also make sure to try the stuffed vine leaves! House white wine was delicious as well. The people there were so friendly and the place was so relaxed. We came here for sunset, and the views were just unbelievable. A perfect night!

Great Taverna with Greek, authentic food and lovely owners - the elderly couple is so charming and nice - food is heaven and I think other places in that small village are a bit more touristic for the „masses“ that walk there (ostria is not in the first line when you get out of the gorge).

If you want to eat the real delicious and homemade food, this is the place. The prices of the dishes really affordable, owners a very friendly old couple. Me and my friends were served with a very warm welcome, and the place just gorgeous, makes you feel at home. Beautiful view to the ocean.

We went to this restaurant by chance and what a surprise. It was absolutely delicious and very hearty for the price. We ate a Chicken Souvlaki and we loved it ! The quality of the food being served is unmatched. The service was amazing and we really liked the person who took care of us. If you pass by this restaurant, you absolutely have to eat there, you won't be disappointed at all !Thank you for this amazing meal and experience, we will surely come back by your place.

It is a wonderful experience to come down from the mountains to enter the restaurant of two extremely sweet Greek grandfathers. We were served by 2 lovely old Greeks in their 80s!!! Google translator helped to communicate, the grandfather spoke a little English. Grandma cooked to eat. We are impressed by the sincerity, simplicity, decoration of the cafe, we just feel great love for them Maybe someday we will come back
